Below is a link to an article written by Mayumi Ishii about Jingdezhen and the Pottery Workshop. Published in the in-flight September 2018 issue of WINGSPAN magazine, the article titled, “Return to the Porcelain Capital,” speaks as much to the history of Jingdezhen as it does to the modern day. Andy and I, along with our amazing staff were able to host Mayumi and to share with her perspectives of Jingdezhen and it’s community. Mayumi having first visited Jingdezhen 15 years prior, of course also shared with us as many interesting memories and insights. She was a pleasure to have with us and it is very exciting to be able to share this article ….. also it is probably the last and only time I will ever see my name in an inflight magazine.
